It is indeed a very special film. The guys over at Red Letter Media once said that it's very rare for a bad film to maintain a constant level of entertainment all the way through. The Room is one that does, though: every scene has something to hold your attention.
True. Whether the characters are inexplicably threatening to throw each other off a building, or inexplicably playing football in suits, it's captivating.
A friend of mine has just suggested watching Samurai Cop. Is it worth the effort?

Have you watched it yet? This film was the one thing in my life which exceeded my expectations. Or rather deceeded them might be the correct term.

Samurai Cop is also great. At one point in our viewing I started shouting "What is even happening here!" at the screen.
